A scenario which seems to be very common in the Indian context is a tea stall being located under the shade of a tree. Here, a tea shop located along with several other shops attracts a wide variety of customers. Many of the tea stall customers work in the nearby enterprises.
In front of this shop stand two trees, both surrounded by raised platforms that are often used by customers as seating. On a sunny day, the canopies of these trees and the overhang extending from the shop into the street together create a densely shaded space. This area is quite suitable for rest and pause on a hot sunny day. The shopkeeper, to facilitate the act of pausing, also keeps several stools outside his shop to allow his customers to sit, rest, and enjoy their cups of tea.
